Artwork & Delivery FAQ

  • You can give us your artwork in any of these formats: EPS, PDF, AI, PSD. If you have PDF or EPS, this is preferable.
  • Artwork can be designed at full size @ 150dpi or half size @ 300 dpi.
  • Please bear in mind we print all designs in CMYK, so colour shifts can occur when designs are supplied in RGB format.
  • Please convert all fonts to outlines.
  • For our standard banners (PVC and Mesh) we recommend not placing any critical artwork/text within 5cms of any edge. Bleed of 25mms should be added to all edges.
  • For our scaffolding banners, we recommend not placing any critical artwork/text within 15cms of the top and bottom edges as this will be used for the pole sleeves.

Colour Codes:

We will match colours as close as possible but some print processes may result in colour changes. Colours will not always print exactly as they appear on your computer monitor so please let us know if you have specific colour shades. PDF proofs cannot be accurate for colour due to the nature of different computers and their monitors.  However, all other elements such as copy and layout should be checked. All RGB and Pantone shades will be converted to CMYK by our RIP software. Please note that due to the variety of materials and printing processes use to manufacture your product(s), we cannot guarantee a full colour match, although we will endeavour to match as close as possible within the tolerances of the material. If you wish to check how your colour code prints before we process your order, please let us know and we can supply a hard copy proof.

Once you have completed the checkout process online, you are automatically re-directed to our artwork upload page. On this page, you will be able to upload your own designs/logos/images.

There is also a File Upload link on the home page that you can use to send us your files.

Alternatively if you prefer, we are happy to accept artwork via emails, Wetransfer or Dropbox links.

If you want to use our simple free design service. Simply email us your design specification along with your order number and we shall send you a design proof for approval.

Yes, we can arrange collections from our production unit.

As standard once an order is ready to leave us, we send your order to you on a next working day courier service.

If you have a deadline that you cannot afford to miss, we advise you use our GUARANTEED DELIVERY SERVICE, whereby we deliver your order direct to your door using our  own van. This can be done at a time to suit you. Subject to availability.

Yes, we are happy to post to direct to your customers. Just let us know and we shall send it plain wrapped.

All invoices are sent electronically.

We offer to do simple designs for Free for all of our customers.

If you would like to use this service simply reply to your order confirmation or send us an email to info@bigvaluebanners.co.uk and let us know the information you require not forgetting to include any pictures or logos you want us to incorporate.

If you have any particular colours/fonts, just let us know. We will then prepare your artwork and email a proof for your approval prior to printing.

Yes, please contact us for a delivery quote.

Yes, we will always send a digital proof that needs to be approved before we start printing your order.

We accept payment via credit/debit cards and bank transfers.

We also accept payment by Apple Pay and Google Pay.

We can also accept cheques, but please be aware that we cannot process orders until payment has been cleared.

Full payment is required in advance of printing.

We aim to dispatch majority of orders within 2 working days (stands, bulk orders and polyester/flag orders may take longer). If you are in a rush, contact us and we may be able to offer an Express Service.

Once dispatched, most orders will be put on a Next Working day courier service with either APC or TNT.

If you need a guaranteed delivery date, please get in touch with us about our dedicated delivery service using our own vans.

Full tracking details will be sent to you, once your order has left us.

We can also dispatch on timed/Saturday services, but please contact us to discuss before placing your order.

As standard, we eyelet the banners in all corners and then roughly every 50/60cms around all edges.

If you have specific requirements, please let us know.

Bleed of 25mms should be added to height and width.

We recommend not placing any critical artwork/text within 5cms of any edge.

You can give us your artwork in any of these formats: EPS, JPEG, PDF, AI, PSD.

Any order damaged in transit must be reported immediately by signing the delivery note “Damaged on arrival”.

If the delivery note is signed without the comment “Damaged on arrival” we cannot be held responsible for damages in transit.

You will need to inspect your order immediately on delivery and if there are shortages or any problems at all with the order, you need to notify us within 24hrs after the time of delivery.

We aim to dispatch all our banners/mesh banners/self adhesive vinyl orders within 2 working days of receiving a completed order.

If you need your banner faster than this, we’ll do our best to help you, but please contact us before completing your order.

We can offer same day and next day dispatch services.

Please contact us for delivery times on banner frames/foamex and correx orders as this can vary, though all orders are dispatched within 3 to 4 working days.

If you select a hem and eyelet finish, our banners are printed with a welded hem free of charge. This means we fold over the banner on itself and heat weld the edges, giving it added strength. We also offer a reinforced hem at an additional cost £1.50 per linear metre. If this is selected the edges of the banners are reinforced with a thick nylon coated webbing. This will give the banners extra strength during weather conditions. It does not make them weather proof!
